marco pinnagenre country origin biography Extraordinary Italian guitar player based in Nashville,Usa.
Marco takes inspiration from the Mediterranean area and he create an amazing mix of musical cultures including some jazz,some brazilian,gypsy and more..
We can call him an extremely open minded musician.
Marco leaves his home country at the age of 22 to Vienna-Austria and started to perform in the best jazz clubs in Europe.
In the late 80's he moves to Milan,Italy where he collaborate with the theatre director Giorgio Strelher at the prestigious Piccolo Teatro working on the opera Faust.
In the 90's create the Marco Pinna guitar quartet turning from electric guitar to nylon string guitar.
Recorded the album Mediterranean Journey with the duo Ses Cordas.
2010 an American manager called him to perform in Nashville,the music city and still now Marco is living there and playing with legendary musicians as Chester Thompson,Sean O'Bryan Smith and more..
2014 release the cd Amigus as solo artist.The press wrote : Marco Pinna,the Mediterranean guitar virtuoso is the kind of artist able to move the stagnant scene in Usa.
The release cd party was mentioned as one of the best show of the year.
On last july 28th Marco was awarded as ambassador of culture
